Welcome from the Headteacher
I am delighted to welcome you to our website. Ham Dingle Primary is a wonderful school and I am very proud to be its Headteacher. At Ham Dingle, we aim to provide an excellent education for all of our children so that they develop the knowledge and skills that will enable them to thrive and flourish. Our children are at the centre of all that we do and, by building strong relationships, we make Ham Dingle a learning community.
At Ham Dingle, we aim to bring out the best in everyone. We know that each child is unique and has their own strengths and talents and it is for us to nurture and support them as they grow. To bring out the best in everyone, we have high expectations in all that we do. We expect excellent attendance from children and support from families; excellent behaviour and excellent attitudes to learning.
Whilst we have high aspirations for academic achievement, we know that wider personal development is a key part in a child's learning. It is for this reason that we ensure that our curriculum provides children with a broad range of wider learning opportunities.
This website will provide you with a flavour of what life is like at Ham Dingle, but the best way is to come and see the school in action. I warmly invite you to visit the school where you can meet staff and children and be given a tour. To book a visit, please contact the school on 01384 818965 or email info@hamdingleprimary.co.uk
Best wishes

Welcome from the children
As the Ham Dingle School Councillors, we would like to welcome you to Ham Dingle Primary School.
You will learn lots of things without even knowing it! Our teachers are fun and creative but also very kind.
We have lots of clubs, including Choir, Dance, and many other after-school opportunities.
In our Edible Playground we grow fruit and vegetables which we can use in our Food Technology lessons. The school grounds are extensive and we have a Forest School and large playing field and playgrounds.
Due to the pandemic, we have not been able to go on many educational visits but in the future we will be back to normal and will be visiting new places.
We would recommend Ham Dingle as a creative and welcoming place for your child.
