Adverse Weather Arrangements

On extreme weather days we will open the doors of the school at 8:45am to prevent you and your child having to wait outside, to come into the classroom.

From the main entrance the top playground gate will be closed and you will need to use the side gate adjacent to the main reception office to reach classes in Reception and Key Stage 1. This is to ensure we are able to grit a safe pathway.

Please take care coming up or down Old Ham Lane, if the road is not gritted by Dudley Council, it tends to be slippy.

If your child is late, you need to come into school with your child to register them with the school office at main Reception.

We will endeavour to keep the school open at all times as far as possible. If the school needs to close due to any type of emergency or extreme weather then we will message parents as near to 7am as we can, to let you know if we are closing the school.

Please ensure your parent hub app is up to date with your mobile phone number to enable us to communicate any information to you. If you need any help with this, please contact the school office. Alternatively, please listen to announcements made on local radio stations, e.g. BBC West Midlands, Heart FM and Free Radio. Please also check our website for updates. Work will be set for the children via the active learn platform.
